Georgios Koliopoulos obtained his Medical Degree from the School of Medicine of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in 1995.<\/p>

He specialized in Obstetrics and Gynecology in the United Kingdom from 2000 to 2007, training in internationally renowned hospitals such as John Radcliffe Hospital (Oxford), where he obtained the following diplomas and qualifications:<\/p>

  • Diploma of Faculty of Family Planning<\/li>
  • Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists<\/li>
  • British Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology Certificate in Diagnostic and Therapeutic Colposcopy<\/li><\/ul>

    He was awarded a PhD by the University of Ioannina following the completion of his doctoral thesis in 2004.<\/p>

    He served as Lecturer in Obstetrics and Gynecology, with a subspecialty focus on Gynecologic Oncology, at the University of Ioannina from 2007 to 2012.\n\nIn 2012, he was appointed to Elena Venizelou General Hospital, where he currently holds the position of Director and Scientific Head of the 2nd Gynecology Department, as well as Director of the Surgical Division.<\/p>

    He is also active in private practice, maintaining his own medical office, and collaborates with the IASO Maternity & Gynecology Clinic.\n\nHe holds certification in ultrasound practice from the Central Health Council (KESY).<\/p>
